Aquele que se tornou num dos meus personagens favoritos da Battlestar Galactica. De jogador de pyramid a líder da resistência cylon em Caprica, daí a fiel companheiro da Kara Thrace (sempre, mesmo quando ela não sabia o que queria da vida), descobriu que é um dos famosos final five e acabou por se tornar num híbrido e em herói sacrificado no final da série. Não é um dos personagens principais, mas é um herói. Oh Sammy... sou tua fã, caramba.

Um modelo humanóide cylon conversa com um dos seus criadores e expressa a revolta que lhe vai na alma (?) pelo resultado da criação. Excelente texto, na minha opinião. Um dos melhores a que esta série-fora-de-série já me tem habituado.

Inauguro aqui um novo conjunto de posts, dedicados a citações favoritas retiradas de livros, filmes ou séries. Para inaugurar, nada melhor do que um diálogo da série de TV Battlestar Galactica (porque será????). Trata-se de um diálogo cúmplice entre o Comandante Adama e a Tenente Starbuck, que se repete ao longo da série, como forma de cumprimento/private joke entre estas duas personagens, que têm uma espécie de relação pai-filha.

Muita discussão tem havido entre os fãs da série sobre o significado deste pequeno diálogo. Alguns querem entendê-lo melhor, outros acham que não o perceberam. Meus amigos, se é uma piada entre o Comandante Adama e a Tenente Starbuck, será que temos mesmo que entender? Aqui fica ele:

Aqui fica um excerto do famoso diálogo sobre as "little differences" entre a Europa e os Estados Unidos da América.

O Ilusionista de Neil Burger foi um daqueles filmes que me caiu mesmo bem. Desde a fotografia, passando pela música, pela sóbria interpretação do Edward Norton e pela fantástica interpretação do Paul Giamatti. Acabei de o rever: o DVD está a um preço muito acessível numa loja que não quero publicitar, mas cujo nome começa por f, acaba em c e tem as letras n e a no meio. É mais um filme em que o mundo é o da magia, ou melhor, desta vez trata-se de ilusão. Ou será que não? Nem tudo é o que parece...
